Emergency Management Training

Current trainings

Required training at the FEMA web page, https://training.fema.gov/:

IS-100.a, an Introduction to the Incident Command System. This course is required of MOVVC members for credentialing for response to an animal disease emergency. The course is easy to take, proceed step-by-step, the exam should be taken on-line, and a certificate of completion should be printed. Also, at this site are very worthwhile courses: IS-10, Animals in Disaster, Modules A & B, and IS-800.B, National Response Framework, An Introduction.

IS-700.a This course introduces and overviews the National Incident Management System (NIMS).  NIMS provides a consistent nationwide template to enable all government, private-sector, and nongovernmental organizations to work together during domestic incidents.
